WHEW!! moving out of Texas I thought surely I would get away from that summer heat.. and for the most part I did. Here in the great state of Arkansas it is not as hot more just humid... I'm talking Houston humid... but over all just a mild heat.
But of course, as fate would have it, the AC at the Law Firm breaks. Just to be clear it's not the whole building. Oh no, it is just the upstairs. Which would be where my office is. So this is day 6 of blistering heat INSIDE a building. Bless the poor little AC man's heart, he nearly got ripped to shreds by seven women, three attorneys, two partners, and one flustered accountant when he told us he ordered the wrong part to fix the AC. My fingers are crossed that he gets the part in tomorrow, but in reality we are probably looking at having AC sometime next week. My best guess is Wednesday.. until then...
